Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy, supervision
Jed Wilson, LICSW is a psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, and clinical social worker in private practice, serving patients in Maine and New Hampshire.
His training and theoretical orientation are derived from psychoanalysis, a radical engagement with the unknown in which the patient is invited to say whatever may come to their mind and to see what emerges. His approach aims to support the dignity of each individual as they shape new ways of relating to life in its beauty and its anguish.
An avid teacher, presenter, and supervisor, he is a contributor to various initiatives within the community of the Instituto Internacional de Psicanálise (IIP), of which he is also a member. His work on psychoanalytic theory is rooted especially in the later teaching of Jacques Lacan and attempts to further develop Lacan’s interdisciplinary engagement with mathematics. In addition to his numerous presentations at the IIP, he has given seminars and workshops at various other venues, including the California Forum of the Lacanian Field, the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, and Duquesne University’s Lacan Conference.
He also offers psychodynamically oriented clinical supervision and consultation upon request.
